That Jeremy Horwitz knows a thing or two about iPods, iPads, iEverything… He’s probably seen every single case, clip or stand released for Apple’s mobile hardware since iLounge began life as iPodLounge almost ten years ago. Jeremy, the editor-in-chief over at iLounge, had a look at our Compass Mobile Stand for iPad and came away with only nice things to say about it. We are more than honored.
Here’s his perspective on Compass, from the recent iLounge preview:
“Released last year, Twelve South’s Compass ($40) is billed as a “mobile stand” for the iPad, capable of being folded down into a flat shape and stuck into a velvet and elastic carrying case for travel. Made from silver steel with gray rubber pads, Compass is undoubtably one of the very nicest stands we’ve seen for the iPad, opening in one position to support the iPad as a keyboard input device, and in the other as a more traditional easel to hold the iPad in landscape or portrait orientations for video and other purposes. A great design at a reasonable price.”
