The New Yorker, that venerable magazine we all know and love, has just published its “Reading Room Holiday Gift Guide.” They are the first to admit that many of the objects featured are beautiful, impractical things (how about a Japanese reading nook?)…but then, at the end of their slide show, they end up with items that are actually accessible for people looking for beauty in everyday reading-related objects.
