Great device!
Sturdy and quality product— and delivers what is advertised
I received this last week, and I'm pretty happy with it. Its seems to be very sturdy and strong. The cost was higher than what I wanted, but it does do what I need.
Quality of the product is top notch, it's not flimsy and well worth the price. I use the HoverBar Duo in my office with my iPad pro for an additional screen and it certainly gives me the flexibility to position the iPad in the perfect location.
If I had to give just one constructive element it would be that the lover hinge doesn't allow you to tighten it enough to extend the iPad very far forward over the base. If I try and extend it the iPad will slowly drop down and needs to be adjusted. Certainly not the end of the world as I can simple reposition the HoverBar Duo to a less extended position and voila.
I have a iPad 12.9 3rd generation with a very thin TPU case and it fits this stand very tight and secure, even if you have a slightly thicker case, there’s still a little room to spare. Other reviews stated that with a iPad 12.9 that the stand dropped down and tipped over, this is just not the case. Set up took about 2 minutes and I didn’t have to tighten any of the joints with the included hex wrenches. In either landscape or portrait position, my iPad is still very secure. The stand itself is very well made . I’m typing this review on the stand and there’s very, very little wobbling if any. I highly recommend this stand who has a iPad 12.9 or what ever size you have.
