Can I charge my MacBook with the PlugBug Slim?

Yes, it is compatible and will charge your MacBook. But a higher wattage USB-C charger, at least equal to the Apple charger shipped with your MacBook, is recommended for best performance while using your MacBook. If you want to charge your MacBook with PlugBug Slim, it is recommended to do so while your MacBook is in Sleep mode.

Perfect size, function

The best things in life come in small packages. This is one! And is nicely packable too (due to the retractable plug). Now that there is finally (hopefully) an industrial standard that even Apple has to follow--the USB-C connection--the plug bug will be useful for anyone.

Nice and slim

I purchased this product for its slimness feature. It extends below a receptacle so it has to be placed on the lower plug or turn it upside down to put it in the top plug. It did fine to charge an iPad and a iPhone (at separate times). The device was warm but not hot when charging. Overall it works well and avoids the 3 inch protrusion that the traditional Apple 20w charger has when plugged into an outlet.

Great compact design

Perfect for travel. Only complaint is the LED is super bright. Enough to throw shadow in a dark room.
